E3 Church engage | experience | elevate
It all began with a question. Two churches in the same community, trying to reach people with the same message in the same way. What if we combined our resources and our efforts in an effort to reach the community of Scottsdale? Could we really set aside our individual histories, identities, goals and personalities to serve a greater vision? We’d never heard of it being done before, but after prayer and discussion and asking hard questions, we came to the conclusion that together we would be stronger than we could ever be separately.
In November 2007, The Life at Scottsdale and Desert Vista Church began the process of becoming a new church, with a new name, a new identity and a new way of “doing church”. Both pastors, Mark Einersen and Brad Larson, head up E3 Scottsdale as lead pastors. Rather than being lead by one person, we are choosing to let our common vision for reaching the Scottsdale community in an authentic, relevant way lead our decisions.
