Desert Vista Church

In September of 1999 a core group of about 30 adults and children began meeting for two months on Sunday mornings at the Courtyard Marriott in North Scottsdale. The majority of the group came from Mesa First Assembly with their blessing and support to plant a new church in the fast-growing community of North Scottsdale. After much prayer, preparation and advertising to the community, Desert Vista began holding Sunday morning services at Sonoran Sky Elementary School in November of 1999. As the church grew, it later moved to Desert Canyon Middle School and then into the present location in the Scottsdale Airpark.
