Based on Jesus’ mission to seek and save lost people (Luke 19:10), and His mandate for us to make disciples (Matthew 28:19), the mission of E3 Scottsdale is to:

We accomplish our mission by focusing on six simple priorities:
Building People.Our greatest resource is not buildings or equipment, but people. We are committed to growing and training leaders that build people.
Developing Intimacy with God. We are committed to growing in passionate worship, authentic prayer, knowledge of faith righteousness and acceptance of our identity in Christ.
Leaving a Mark on Our Community. We will cultivate our stories, and integrate ourselves into our community. Even though I am free of the demands and expectations of everyone, I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of poeple; religious, nonreligious, meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists, the defeated, the demoralized - whoever. I didn’t take on their way of life. I kept my bearings in Christ - but I entered their world and tried to experience things from their point of view. I’ve become just about every sort of servant there is in my attempts to lead those I meet into a God-saved life. I did all this because of the Message. I ddin’t just want to talk about it; I wanted to be in on it! (1 Corinthians 9:19-23, The Message Bible)
Being a Missional Community. We were not meant to travel alone. We will cultivate relational and relevant environments, where we can gather in communities to support, heal, pray, serve, care and learn from one another and experience life together.
Opening Up Our Eyes. We will be a church that is missions-minded. We believe it is our privilege to engage in the great causes of our day: reaching out to the poor, the marginalized, the victimized and the powerless of our world.
Throwing the Hammer. We’re about action. We won’t wait or perfect circumstances and all the stars to be aligned to get busy. We’ll do our best with what we have in our hand. We will stir our hearts, utilize our gifts and cultivate our passions to further the kingdom of God.

At E3 Scottsdale, we are passionate about building people. We are a place where God is experienced and religion is not practiced. We want to engage our community by creating a culture marked by grace, not rules. We desire to elevate lives from mundane existence to lives of active service and authentic relationships. We are committed to changing the way the world sees God.
