Series - The Me I Was Created To Be

We might not all have multiple personalities, but we all do have different versions of ourselves. The personality you bring out on a first date. The face that only your mother knows. The vocabulary you take to work, and the vocabulary you take out with friends. We all revise the “Me” we present, based on expectations and norms, hurts and hopes, fears and insecurities.

The Bible speaks of a best possible version of ourselves, but do we really understand what this means? Is it just another mask that we wear to hide who we really are, or is it something more?

We will explore:

  • The me I pretend to be
  • The me I think I should be
  • The me other people want me to be
  • The me I’m afraid God wants me to be

God transforms people in so many different ways! Find out what it means to become a new creation in Christ. You will be surprised by the answer.
