Baptism

Baptism in water is an important next step to take after you have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ. First, it is a public acknowledgment that you are now a Christian, that is, a Christ-follower. Second, it symbolizes Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, and proclaims your new identity in Christ. Third, it demonstrates the fact that Christ has forgiven you and “washed” away your sins. Finally, it is an act of obedience to Christ.
