Currently 1 in 5 children, 1 in 7 adults, and 1 in 12 seniors in Arizona live in poverty. To make matters more difficult, AZ food prices have risen 19% in the last year, well above the national average of 9%.
That’s why E3 is partnering with the UA Sonora Village Theater to help stock the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance this summer. Items needed the most include: peanut butter, tuna, chunky soups and stews, canned fruits and vegetables, fruit juice (plastic only), rice, and pastas. Let’s fill the receptacles in the lobby each week and make a difference together.
